Three Farmers Products, Cucina & Amore, Crickstart Food, and Tree Island Gourmet Yogurt are the big winners of 2018 SIAL Innovation grand prizes.

On May 2, 2018 at the 2018 SIAL Canada trade show in Montreal, the three big winners of the prestigious SIAL Innovation contest were unveiled to visitors and media.

Three Farmers Products Ltd. of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan was 2018 SIAL Innovation Grand Prize Gold winner for its roasted green peas. Why this product? A protein-packed, low-fat snack of roasted (not fried) green peas. Rich in fiber and minerals. Nut-, gluten- and GMO-free.

Slimming, Natural, Variety of senses

Cucina & Amore of San Pablo, California won the 2018 SIAL Innovation Grand Prize Silver for its ready-to-eat vegan meals. Why this product? The company, whose name translates from Italian to Kitchen & Love offers meals that are storable at room temperature. Gluten-free and high in fiber. Pasta replaced by cauliflower “rice”.

Crickstart Food Co. of Montreal, won the 2018 SIAL Innovation Grand Prize Bronze for its cricket-based protein bars. Why this product? Organic protein bars made from cricket flower. Also contains seed butters and hemp for a rich texture.

The SIAL Innovation Contest: Exceptional Visibility for Businesses

$20,000 value to the Grand-Prize Winners:

The three Gold, Silver and Bronze grand-prize winners for 2018 receive a free space at each of the SIAL Network’s exhibitions and will equally divide $20,000 from Neilsen.

The SIAL Network will provide an exhibition space for free at all the 2018 SIALs—in China, the Philippines, India, Abu Dhabi, and Paris.
