TFO Canada’s Board of Directors announced today that it has begun recruitment for its next Executive Director. Brian Mitchell will be transitioning out of this role during the last quarter of 2014, after ten years with TFO Canada. In making the announcement, Board Chair Paul Hitschfeld commented that “Brian has provided tremendous leadership to the organization over the past decade and has built a solid foundation on which TFO Canada can deliver its mandate of using trade with Canada as a means of sustainable economic growth for developing countries.” TFO Canada has recently expanded its activities and staffing, and is positioned for further growth in its work assisting smaller exporters from Canada’s trading partners in the developing world to access the Canadian market. Brian Mitchell remarked that “serving TFO Canada and its clients has been a privilege for me since 2004, and a unique opportunity to combine my passion for business, trade and a more equitable world.”
TFO Canada has engaged Ottawa-based Executive Search firm, Renaud Foster, to assist with the recruitment campaign now underway.
