Khartoum - We are focusing on economic liberalization polices, developing trade relations with foreign countries, working for enforcing laws governing businesses in the country and encouraging production, Minister for Foreign Trade Osman Omar Al-Sharif said stated. The Minister said the above-cited policies were meant for organizing, exportation and importation control, border and international trade.
Cabinet Economic Development Sector in its meeting directed the Ministry of Trade to expedite the formation of national council for exports development and provision of necessary financial resources to enable it to promote Sudanese exports and organize domestic commercial activities and control border trade.
The Cabinet Economic Development Sector recommended the policies of the Ministry of Trade include proposals and suggestions made during the meeting, taking into consideration the importance of achieving economic development and increasing Sudan's benefit from border trade.
