The Honourable Stéphane Dion, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today announced that he will meet with Gabriela Michetti, Argentina’s Vice-President, on Tuesday, October 4, 2016, in Ottawa.
Minister Dion and Vice-President Michetti will discuss topics of mutual interest, such as trade and investment, while identifying opportunities to increase collaboration in areas including climate change, renewable energy, culture, human rights and peace operations.
The Vice-President’s visit follows previous meetings between Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and President Mauricio Macri at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, in January 2016 and at the Nuclear Security Summit in Washington, D.C., on March 31 and April 1, 2016.
