The Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India has identified Toronto, Canada as the next edition of “India Show” for developing trade between India and Canada and more in the engineering sector. We are of the opinion that exports and imports are compliment to each other and both are vital organs of trade development. Canada and India’s strategic partnership is developing not only in the Government level but also within industries and institutions. On view of the potential cooperation agreement on trade between the Countries it will be our interest to spread the best practices of the Canada’s engineering sector within our members for facilitating more linkages between engineering industries between India and Canada.
EEPC India is the largest Trade Promotion Agency in India set up by Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. EEPC India is an ISO 9001-2000 organization and has been serving over 13,000 members from amongst large Corporate Houses, Small & Medium Enterprises (SME), etc. We are pioneer in linking business between countries and we have over 30 cooperation agreements with different Chamber of Commerce throughout the world. “India Show” in Canada will be organized by EEPC India in conjunction with the Canadian Manufacturing Technology Show (CMTS 2011) at Toronto, Canada from 17 – 20 October 2011. CMTS is a premier engineering exhibition in Canada and more than 600 companies from various countries are expected to participate. India has been declared a Strategic Partner for the Show. The year 2011 has been declared as the “Year of India in Canada” by Hon’ble Prime Ministers of both countries giving added significance to the show. The show is expected to generate considerable momentum for further enhancing the India – Canada bilateral trade and investment relationship.
Till date 115 Indian companies have registered their participation at the event. Indian companies are interested in joint venture, business tie-ups and strategic partnership with Canadian Companies. More details of the show can be located at http://www.eepcindia.org/indiashow/canada2011/.
