ManchesterCF is pleased to announce the Safe Overseas Business Travel seminar for Canadian business executives. The training program places practical knowledge on personal security and corporate security awareness into the hands of business executives travelling to both emerging markets and developed nations.
The program is instructed by a former Director General from the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) with an extensive background in personal security for Canada's diplomatic corps and embassies abroad.
Emphasis is placed on preventative solutions, an approach that avoids potential hazards that disrupt and endanger an executive travelling overseas.
• Basic and emergency planning
• Personal security
• Hotel selection
• Protection of company assets
• Ground transportation
• Interaction with locals
• Travel for females
• Returning home
The first seminar will be offered on Monday, April 4, 2011, at the Ontario Investment and Trade Centre (35th floor, 220 Yonge Street, Toronto) from 8:45am to 11:45am.
Participants must be registered in advance for a fee of $588. No tickets will be sold at the door. Seating is limited to 70 persons. Over the next few months, seminars will be offered in Montreal, Vancouver, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton and Halifax.
